How to Play Word Search
Word search is a simple, relaxing puzzle: a grid of letters hides a list of words, and your job is to find them all.
The rules
- Find every word in the list beside (or below) the grid.
- Words can run in any straight line — across, down, diagonally, and often backwards.
- Select a word by dragging across its letters, or by tapping the first letter and then the last letter.
- You win when every word on the list is found.
Tips for beginners
- Scan one row at a time for the first letter of each word.
- Long and unusual words are easiest to spot — start with those.
- Don’t forget diagonals and backwards words.
Large print & accessibility
Turn on Large Print in the top menu for bigger letters and cells — easier on the eyes for seniors and young children. Every puzzle also prints cleanly to paper.
